And Elohiym said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and את every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given את every green herb for food: Genesis 1:29-30

"Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food"  Hippocrates

From the very beginning of  time, if we measure it from a Creation account, all created things and beings were meant to work in harmony in the cycle of life.  Man tended the earth. Animals were the servants and helpers of man. The earth produced food in the form of plants, herbs, and trees bearing fruit.  All things lived, procreated, and died as progeny continued the sustainable, recurring circle. Food, rather than just something to fill the stomach and sustain life, was a holistic means to support life and maintain optimum health.  Whether herbs or plants or trees, man and beasts were provided the sustenance for life in its fullest form.

As the saying goes, 'We've come a long way, baby' since the simplicity of sowing and reaping.  And now we find ourselves in a state of compromised health brought about through poor diets, high stress and the idea of living to work. The more the original plan has broken down, the more stress and dis-ease we have witnessed. Of course, man, in his attempt to "fix" things has invented advanced ways to address today's maladies.  Yet, things just seem to be getting worse instead of better. So.  What are we to do?

I believe we have a call from the world around us and from deep within our own beings to return to a simple, holistic way of life that incorporates natural, unadulterated, non-gmo, integrated living.  When we watch nature, we see and hear hints, sometimes shouts, of the mysteries that surround us at every turn.

Here's just a small example:
